About Meridian

Justina Hicks

 

Justina is a Board-Certified, Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus in Mental Health. Her critical care experience of 15 years has illustrated the gap between medical and psychiatry care with her experience in outpatient and in-patient settings. The integration of her experience in medicine and mental health has proved effective in treating mental health across lifespan.

One of her foundational core values is compassion: Active listening, kindness, demonstrating empathetic ways of supporting patients and formulating an individualized treatment plan.
